Fans invited to UFC 141 autograph session featuring Cruz, Griffin, Nelson
The UFC continues to add fan-driven activities to next week's blockbuster "UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem" fight-week schedule, and an autograph session featuring three fan-favorite fighters is the latest addition to the roster of events.
Prior to Thursday's official UFC 141 weigh-ins, UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin and heavyweight contender Roy Nelson will sign autographs for fans free of charge.
The session is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT local time) on the concourse of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Cruz, Griffin and Nelson will sign autographs until 3 p.m. PT local time.
The official UFC 141 weigh-ins, which are also free and open to the public, take place inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 4 p.m. PT local time.
The autograph session is just the latest of several UFC 141 fight-week activities open to the public. Additional opportunities for fans to interact with UFC fighters include the official UFC 141 pre-event press conference, which takes place Wednesday in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino lobby.
UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos also hosts a special Q&A session open only to UFC Fight Club members on Friday at 2 p.m. local time.
Featuring a heavyweight title eliminator between former UFC champion Brock Lesnar and former Strikeforce champ Alistair Overeem, "UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem" takes place Dec. 30 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and airs live on pay-per-view.
To avoid promoting the show on the following night's New Year's Eve holiday, UFC 141 takes place on a rare Friday night.

Forrest Griffin: Meet the Former UFC LHW Champion and MMA Legend Saturday
It is not everyday that a fight fan has the opportunity to shake hands with one of the most iconic figures in the sport. MMA has gripped an entire generation by storm. While the history of the sport is deep, even in less than two decades, there are choice moments that hold significant weight on the MMA timeline.One of the most monumental moments in MMA history was when Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar found their way to the Ultimate Fighter Finale of the inaugural season. What happened next would change the sport forever.
Griffin and Bonnar engaged in all-out open war for 15 minutes, in the process putting on one of the single most defining contests in the history of the sport. Setting the bar so high, their fight was listed as No. 1 of the top 100 ever by the UFC.
Griffin went on to win the UFC LHW Championship, and still holds great potential for affecting the sport.
So for a fight fan to have the opportunity to shake the hand of such a significant contributor to the sport is quite an honor indeed. Well, fight fans in the Old Pueblo will have that opportunity this Saturday evening at X-1 Sports and Fitness.
Forrest will be meeting with Tucson fight fans at the new facility run by MMA Standout Mike Whitehead. This is quite an amazing chance to meet one of the most iconic figures this sport has ever known.

Forrest Griffin: UFC Offers Action All Weekend In Las Vegas For Fans
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has a week full of action for fans in the Las Vegas area.
To kick things off on Friday, former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin will host a Q&A session, which is free and open to the public. Immediately following the session, fighters set to compete at “The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale” will hit the scales for the official weigh-ins, which is also free to anyone who would like to attend at the Palms Casino Resort.Later that night, UFC President Dana White is set to host the TJ Lavin and Ty Pinney Benefit at the Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Proceeds for the event go to the recovery funds for injured BMX bikers TJ Lavin, Ty Pinney, and friends.
Then, the following day, the promotion will be putting on a warehouse sale from 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. PT, and merchandise can be purchased at 35% to 65% off. Later that evening, fighters head to the cage for “The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale”, featuring the finalists from the latest season of the reality series, as well as a light heavyweight match up between Stephan Bonnar and Igor Pokrajac.

Forrest celebrates UFC Gym at Rosemead Parade
FORREST GRIFFIN TO ATTEND THE ROSEMEAD PARADE TO CELEBRATE NEW UFC® GYM™
Las Vegas, NV (USA) – Ultimate Fighting Championship® light heavyweight fighter Forrest Griffin will be in attendance at the Rosemead Independence Day Celebration Parade on Saturday, July 3rd to help commemorate the opening of the new Rosemead/Los Angeles area UFC® Gym™. This is the second UFC branded gym to open its doors, joining the facility in Concord, CA which opened in 2009.
The 40,000 square foot UFC Gym will feature the latest and greatest in technology and training, with premier fitness and cardio equipment, private MMA training, and Octagon® discipline instruction. Training techniques such as Muay Thai kickboxing, jiu jitsu and self-defense classes will be offered, in conjunction with dry saunas, state-of-the-art locker rooms, and a 1400 square foot “Arm Bar Café.” The gym, located near I-10 and Rosemead Blvd, also has a focus on youth development, as it provides a unique Kid’s Gym with youth training and educational programs.
